Benefits of Spray Drones

Easy to Use

Easy to Use

Equipped with an intuitive app and autonomously controlled, they are effortless to use and simple to set up.  All you need to do is charge the battery and fill up the spray tank, and this is made easier by quick attachment and detachment features.

Portable

Portable

The DJI Agras drones are all made of lightweight materials and can fold 70-80% of their operating size for transport, making them easy to move around.

Safe

Safe

These drones use dual cameras and a spherical radar system to automatically avoid any obstacles it may face and prevent collisions.  Their batteries and chargers are also equipped with top of the line safety measures.

Precise and Efficient

Precise and Efficient

The DJI Agras drones use the Smart Agriculture Cloud Platform to plan optimal flight routes.  With their RTK modules they are able to follow this path to the centimeter.  By utilizing a dual-channel solenoid flowmeter, the drones precisely control output and monitor volume.

Control

Control

The DJI Agras drones support live video for up to 5 km from the controller, and the controllers can control multiple drones at a time.

Durable

Durable

These drones are built to last.  They are IP67 rated, which means they are protected from rain and dust.  All critical components are fully enclosed and protected from corrosion and dust.

DJI Agras T10

The DJI Agras T10 comes equipped with an 8L spray tank and 9,500 mAh battery.  It has 4 nozzles that allow it to spray at a rate of up to 2.4L/min.  It also comes with the standard features of this line, including dual cameras, 360 degree radar, flight path optimizations, continuous performance with 2 batteries, and more.

The Agras T10 can switch to a spreading system in just three minutes. A capacity of 8kg and spreading width of up to 7 meters support an hourly productivity of up to 14 acres. It also supports real-time weight monitoring and has an anti-rotation sensor, allowing more accurate refill alerts. The T10’s overall water-resistance rating of IP67 makes it washable and corrosion-resistant ideal for spraying of fertilizers, seeds, and feed.

DJI Agras T20

The DJI Agras T20 comes equipped with a 20L spray tank and an 18,000 mAh battery.  It has 8 nozzles that allow it to spray at a rate of up to 6L/min.  It also comes with the standard features of this line, including dual cameras, 360 degree radar, flight path optimizations, continuous performance with 2 batteries, and more.

The Spreading System 2.0 elevates the efficiency of the T20 significantly by utilizing a payload of 16 L [7] and a dispense rate of up to 15 kg/min. For direct seeding with grains 0.5-5 mm in size, and is ideal for cover crop seeding and more.

Note that an SFOC is required (+25 kg) to fly the T20 in Canada.

DJI Agras T40

The DJI Agras T40 is equipped with the revolutionary Coaxial Twin Rotor design, enabling it to carry a spray load of up to 40 kg and a spread load of up to 50 kg (70 L). The aircraft is built in with a Dual Atomized Spraying System to ensures even droplets and more efficient pesticide usage. The proprietary centrifugal valve prevents leakage, avoids over-fertilization, and reduces pesticide use while protecting the environment. The effective spray range can reach 11 meters. According to the official, the measured field efficiency can reach 320 mu times per hour. An increase of 30% over the previous generation product.

T40 Spreading System is increased the load and enlarged the feeding port to facilitate quick feeding. In the field scenario, the measured spreading efficiency it can reach 1.5 tons of fertilizer per hour. In terms of core performance, T40 is equipped with the “active phased array radar + binocular vision” combination pioneered by agricultural drones.

Note that an SFOC is required (+25 kg) to fly the T40 in Canada.

We will update more information as soon as it is available.

Potential Use Cases

Row Crops

  • They can be much more efficient than traditional pesticide spraying methods.

Specialty Crops

  • They work well with the various methods required for many specialty crops.

Granular Products

  • The drones have an excellent spreader attachment that can be used to spread seeds and other granular materials.

Wetland Management

  • As the drones are IP67 rated and are able to detect water, they are safe to use for any wetlands management.

Special Use Treatment

  • Because of the flexibility that these drones possess, they are likely able to adapt to be used for many other applications.
